Now that the heat is tight, nothing better than having a very cool beer on a shaded terrace. In the summer time, beer consumption goes up and many of us want to try the local beers during our holidays. Well, here in Mallorca we have many varieties of beers. Discover our guide to the island's local beers.

1. Beer Lovers

These beer lovers make five different varieties in their factory in Alcudia. If you stay at our hotel HSM President Golf & Spa, we advise you to visit the factory and discover the secrets of this tasty beer.

2. Forastera

This beer is made in Molinar and the factory was founded in 2013 by a German who lives in Mallorca (hence the name, which means a foreigner living on the island). They make two types of beer: Barvaria Helles or Al Limón.

3. Sullerica

This beer, made at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, is garnished with orange blossom, to give it that "sulleric" (from Sóller) flavor. It has four varieties of beer. La Sullerica 1561 is made with green olive from Sóller.

4. Talaiòtika

This beer, made in Felanitx and distributed and widely accepted in the area of the Llevant, has two types of beer, one of them reddish. It is one of the beers that can be found on beer fair “Beer Palma”.

5. Alqueries

This craft beer from Manacor de la Vall was created by friends and stands out for being elaborated in an ecological way. Much love is the secret ingredient to make two types of beer.

6. Boscana

Elaborated in Sóller, this craft beer follows traditional methods. Its beer is made with high quality barley and presents fruity air, so typical of Sóller. They make four types of beers.
