Get to know the best hiking routes in Majorca

The rural surroundings of the island of Majorca make it the favorite place for hiking lovers, who year after year enjoy new routes and contemplate the landscapes our wonderful island has to offer.

If you want to be trendy and join the runner movement, but you do not fancy to go running every day, try to walk along one of the quiet routes that we show you and surely you will end up being a huge hiking fan.

1.From Sant Elm to La Trapa

The south-west coast of Majorca offers countless trails to visit, but undoubtedly the most beautiful is the one that joins Sant Elm and La Trapa. Thanks to its proximity to Dragonera island you will be able to admire beautiful views during your walk. It is not a complicated route, although you have to be careful descending the path.

2.Camí d’es Correu

If is it your first experience with hiking, we advise you to start with Camí d'es Correu, the route that links Esporles and Banyalbufar. You only have to follow the route and enjoy the pure air that you will surely find in Serra de Tramuntana mountains. The distance to walk is 8 kilometers, which can be made in approximately two hours.

3.Ca’n Picafort – Son Real

We want to show you a different route to the usual ones, a walk along the north coast of Majorca. Along this coastal road you will cross a virgin beach overlooking a necropolis from the VII century BC. Do not miss the pretayalotic settlement of Es Figueral, You will find yourself several centuries back in time.

4.El Cap d’es Pinar

The Cap d'es Pinar is one of the routes that you cannot miss if you are real hiking lover. A lot of forests, caves, coves or defensive watchtowers will delight your senses throughout the excursion. Please note though, that this route is a little longer, it lasts around 5 hours. It is more suitable for hiking experts that have already practised this sport.
