When you arrive in Magaluf it's difficult to imagine that, not many years ago, what is now one of the largest tourist resorts in Majorca was once a marshy, undeveloped area.
Opposite the beach is the isle of Sa Porrassa, which is approximately 1 km long.
This resort in the municipality of Calviā has the highest concentration of night spots.
There are a number of interesting walks starting out from Magaluf. The unspoilt areas of Portals Vells and Cala Figuera are excellent destinations.
Cala Vinyes is about 60m long. The golden sand originates from limestone.
Magaluf beach, which extends for 920m, has been renovated in recent years. It has sunbeds, restaurants and boat trips. |
